Pittsburgh 2018

Hey friends! Happy Friday! This week, I was lucky enough to fly up to Pittsburgh to spend a few days with my mom, her husband, and my grandparents. My mom moved to Pittsburgh a couple years ago, and my grandparents just moved in January. The trip was a lot of fun, despite the fact that it SNOWED (yes, in April). I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little relieved to land back in North Carolina to sun and 80 degree weather!

Anyway, I wanted to share some photos of my time there, including some of the delicious food we ate. Traveling used to be so anxiety-provoking for me, and I would spend the weeks prior stressing about what healthy snacks to bring, researching nearby restaurants that would have healthy food, and figuring out when I could fit in exercise. Really all you need to know is that I once crammed a blender into my suitcase when flying to Australia. I was a mess. I am so thankful now that I enjoy traveling and view it as an opportunity to break out of my routine, visit friends/family, try different foods, and explore new places. This trip was exactly that!
