Comin’ atcha with another list of things I’m loving these days!
–Lavender and Honey Kitchen. This recently opened up in Winston Salem and it is adorable. Their cinnamon rolls are insaaaane. They also serve Counter Culture coffee, which I love.
–The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Daré. This was the best fiction book I’ve read in a long time. It is set in Nigeria and tells the story of 14-year-old Adunni, a courageous girl seeking to overcome her circumstances and earn an education (or a “louding voice”). It was riveting!
–You are the Beloved by Henri Nouwen. These are short daily devotionals taken from a range of Nouwen’s books, and the brevity yet depth of his writing has felt absolutely perfect for my season of life. I definitely want to get my hands on more of his books!
-Dark chocolate sunbutter cups. These little gems are perfection! So delicious and poppable. Dare I say they are better than Reese’s?!
-Jolly Jumper. Baby K got this as an early birthday gift from my dad and he has so much fun in it! It was super easy to set up and it’s really nice to have a safe place for him to move around if I need to be feeding CJ or cooking dinner or something. Love love love.
